Abstract

'MICROCERáTOMO". São fornecidos um microcerátomo e processos cirúrgicos relacionados, para realizar ceratotomias lamelares. O microcerátomo inclui um conjunto anel guia, para colocação sobre o olho ou globo ocular, de tal modo que a córnea do globo se salienta através dele. São fornecido dispositivos para fixar temporariamente o anel guia ao globo ocular, imobilizando o olho em relação ao instrumento. Uma lâmina de corte adequada para resseção de córnea, é carregada em um cabeçote de corte sobre o anel guia através de uma trajetória de corte definida por meio do anel guia. Um cabeçote flutuante ajustável, também conhecido genericamente com uma placa, é conectado ao cabeçote de corte para, no mínimo parcialmente, comprimir a córnea adiante da lâmina, de modo a ajustar a espessura desejada da resseção de córnea. São ainda fornecidos dispositivos para acionar o cabeçote de corte e o cabeçote flutuante transversalmente ao anel guia, pelo que, a lâmina corta, no mínimo parcialmemnte, através da córne, para realizar a ceratotomia lamelar. Diversas correções cirúrgicas podem ser conseguidas por meio da utilização de placas arqueadas e oblíquas como uma alternativa a placas planas ou cabeçotes flutuantes, aonde apropriado.
