Abstract
"SISTEMA DE ACESSO DE LúMEN MúLTIPLO". Um dispositivo de acesso de lúmen múltiplo para uso em provimento de um simples conduto de entrada para dentro do corpo humano para seletiva introdução de implementos médicos através dele e para provimento simultâneo de acesso auxiliar para dentro do corpo. O dispositivo de acesso de lúmen múltiplo (10, 400, 500, 520, 550) inclui um estojo de lúmen múltiplo (404, 506, 530) que pode ter um tubo externo (12,422) e estruturalmente definindo um lúmen de dispositivo (30, 31, 130, 230, 330, 426, 574, 582, 586) localizado aí. A estrutura interna pode ser um tubo interno (24, 124, 224, 324, 432). O tubo externo e a estrutura interna estão localizados de forma a definir pelo menos um múmen auxiliar (36, 37, 48, 49, 138, 140, 236, 248, 336, 428, 584, 588) que pode estar localizado entre a superfície exterior do tubo interno e superfície interior do tubo externo. Concretizações incluem tubos internos flexíveis que podem ser flexionados entre posições relaxada e expandida/ contraída onde as relativas área de seção transversal do lúmen do dispositivo e lúmens auxiliares são variadas. O dispositivo de acesso ademais inclui uma válvula (70, 418, 502, 514, 528, 532, 554) que provê vedação do lúmen do dispositivo. A válvula pode ser fornecida em um alojamento de junção de lúmen (56, 402), ou separada do alojamento cada uma conectada permanentemente ao removível com o lúmen do dispositivo. Alternativamente, um estojo de lúmen múltiplo (560) pode passar através de uma válvula (554) levando a um introdutor convencional (564).
