Abstract

"DETECTOR E PROCESSO PARA DETECçãO DE CONVERSA DUPLA E DE VARIAçãO DE TRAJETO DE ECO". Um detector de conversa dupla e de variação de trajeto de eco (100) é provido para o uso em um cancelador de eco (10) que faz uma determinação acerca de se um sinal residual é dominado pelo eco ou por um sinal de "final próximo". Para realizar esta determinação, uma primeira medição de dependência linear é computada entre o sinal residual e uma estimativa de eco, e uma segunda medição de dependência linear é computada entre o sinal residual e um sinal desejado. Os dois resultados são comparados um com o outro, e, se eles forem aproximadamente da mesma ordem, não é necessária ação ulterior. Se a comparação determinar que a dependência entre o sinal residual e o sinal desejado é muito mais forte do que a dependência entre o sinal residual e a estimativa de eco, o presente detector (100) assume que foi detectada conversa dupla e um sinal designando que resultado é emitido. Por outro lado, se a dependência entre o sinal residual e o sinal desejado é muito mais fraca do que a dependência entre o sinal residual e a estimativa de eco, o detector (100) assume que não foi detectada uma variação de trajeto de eco e um sinal designando este resultado é emitido. Como tal, um processo e aparelho confiáveis e computacionalmente efetivos são providos para fornecer ao cancelador de eco (10) informação útil acerca de conversa dupla e variações de trajeto de eco que ocorreram.
