Abstract

"UNIDADE DE EQUIPAMENTOS PARA O LINGOTAMENTO CONTìNUO DE PLACAS DE AçO". Unidade de equipamentos para o lingotamento contínuo de placas de aço, especialmente placas de baixa espessura á velocidades elevadas, consistindo de um molde (1) alimentação por um bico submerso (2) e conectado a um oscilador (3) acionado por um servo-controle hidráulico, em que a seguinte relação geométrica é válida no que diz respeito tanto ao molde como aos formatos do bico submerso e suas disposições mútuas: (A1/S1)/(A2/S2)=0,9:1,1 sendo que, de preferência, A1/S1=A2/S2, e em que, sobre a seção horizontal do molde, no nível do menisco, A1 é a área encerrada entre o bico submerso e os lados de maior dimensão do molde, e A2 é a área residual sobre a dita seção entre o bico submerso e os lados de menor dimensão, sendo S1 e S2 as somas totais dos comprimentos periféricos do molde correspondendo a cada uma das ditas áreas. Além disso, pelo menos na seção horizontal do molde, no nível do menisco, a distância entre o bico submerso e as placas de cobre que formam as paredes do molde é mantida constante.
