Abstract
"COLETA E DEPóSITO DE FIOS DE FIBRAS CORTADOS PARA A FORMAçãO DE REDES NãO TECIDAS DE FIBRAS CORTADAS UNIDAS". Um canhão de ar (100), formado pela associação de um cone de entrada (116), um amplificador de ar (104) e um cone de saída (124) um com o outro, recebe as fibras cortadas e forçosamente deposita as fibras cortadas em uma superfície de coleta (102) ou rede que se move além de uma extremidade de saída (126) do cone de saída (124). Um aglutinante é aplicado à esteira resultante (172) de fibras cortadas, o aglutinante é ativado pela aplicação da energia com a esteira tratada resultante (182) sendo compactada, resfriada e enrolada para formar um pacote de esteira de fio cortado (194). Para esteiras largas, um ou mais bancos (130) de canhões de ar (100) se estendem através da rede de coleta móvel.
