Patente de Invencão: <B>" CORPOS COMPOSTOS, PROCESSOS PARA A SUA PREPARAçãO E EMPREGO DO CORPO COMPOSTO"<D>. A invenção refere-se a um corpo composto, um processo para a sua preparação e um emprego do corpo composto, que se constitui de um corpo de substrato com um revestimento de uma ou várias camadas de carbidas, nitretos, carbonitretos do Ti, Zr, Hr, V, Nb e/ou Ta e/ou de Al~ 2~O~ 3~ ou ZrO~ 2~. Para aperfeiçoar as propriedades de desgaste na usinagem ou sob outra carga abrasiva propõe-se separar uma camada de um carbonitreto do Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta ou Cr ou diretamente sobre uma camada de Al~ 2~O~ 3~ ou ZrO~ 2~ ou sobre uma camada intermediária fina de no máximo 0,5 Ám de ZrC ou ZrN ou no máximo 0,1 Ám de TiN indiretamente sobre uma camada de Al~ 2~O~ 3~ ou ZrO~ 2~.
