Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA FABRICAçãO DE UM RECIPIENTE COM UMA BASE REENTRANTE REBAIXADA". Um recipiente é fabricado em dois estágios a partir de um material tal como termoplástico que é deformado quando aquecido. No primeiro estágio uma pré forma (1) é moldada por injeção, as partes do molde liberando facilmente um corpo tubular (2) com uma extremidade fechada. No segundo estágio a pré forma ainda aquecida (1) é moldada por sopro, possivelmente com algum esticamento mecânico preliminar, o pino de sopro sendo aplicado à extremidade aberta. A extremidade fechada do corpo é esticada sobre uma seção de múltiplas partes (7, 8) do molde que formata a base do recipiente em um entalhe com uma formatação de corte rebaixado, a seção transversal tendo geralmente a forma de ómega. A seção de molde de múltiplas partes possui um núcleo afunilado central (8) cercado por um conjunto de segmentos (7), o núcleo (8) sendo totalmente inserido para espalhar os segmentos (7) para moldagem, e sendo retraído para permitir que os segmentos (7) se fechem e liberem o recipiente após a moldagem. As divisões (12) entre os segmentos (7) produzem nervuras no dentre que fornecem uma resistência adicional.
