Abstract

"SISTEMAS PARA APLICAR ETIQUETAS NãO REVESTIDAS A DOCUMENTOS". Um sistema para aplicar etiquetas não-revestidas a envelopes postais incluindo um alimentador de etiquetas (20) para alimentar um material em tira contínua de etiquetas não revstidas (16) através de um trajeto em laço sob a placa base (28) para uma estação aplicadora de etiquetas justaposta a um trajeto percorrido pelos envelopes postais conduzidos essencialmente de canto por um sistema de correias transportadoras (12). O material passa para uma estação seccionadora (22) operativa para seccionar o material transversalmente e criar etiquetas de uma altura desejada. Um membro de pá (24) é operativo para contactar e reter cada etiqueta enqunto está sendo seccionada do material e para aderir o lado adesivo da etiqueta contra o envelope postal passando através da estação aplicadora de etiquetas. As várias funções operativas do sistema aplicador de etiquetas não-revestidas podem ser coordenadas por lógica de controle convencional.
