Abstract

"MODIFICAçãO DE LIPìDEOS DE PLANTA E óLEOS DE SEMENTE UTILIZANDO GENES DE LEVEDURA SLC". A invenção refere-se à modificação de lipídeos de planta de óleos de semente por técnicasd e engenharia genética para produzir sementes oleaginosas de valor comercial acentuado. Em uma forma, a invenção refere-se a uma planta de semente oleaginosa transgênica, ou a uma semente de tal planta, tendo um genoma incorporado um gene de levedura SLC-1-1 ou SLC1 exprimível. A invenção também fornece um método de produzir uma planta de semente oleaginosa transgência, que compreende introduzir no genoma da planta um gene de levedura SLC1-1 ou SLC1 exprimível. A invenção também refere-se a diversos plasmídeos e vetores utilizados no método da invenção.
