Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE METABóLITOS SECUNDáRIOS DE CéLULAS DE PLANTAS VIáVEIS, E, ARTIGO PARA MANTER UMA CULTURA DE CéLULAS DE PLANTAS EM UMA FASE ESTACIONáRIA". Processo para produzir metabólitos secundários de células de plantas viáveis incluindo as etapas de: (a) preparar um suporte compreendendo uma matriz porosa e substancialmente uniforme de material inorgânico tendo uma resistência à tração de pelo menos 500 MPa; (b) introduzir uma cultura de células de plantas viáveis nos poros da referida matriz, (c) aprisionar as células de plantas por revestimento da matriz com um sol ou suspensão coloidal não interferindo com a viabilidade das células, (d) imobilizar as células aprisionadas dentro da matriz comum gás reativo incluindo um gás veículo saturado com SiO~ 2~ volátil ou precursores de SiO~ 2~ modificados orgânicos. A matriz pode ser SiO~ 2~ ou matrizes de óxido inorgânico, em que a relação em peso entre a carga de célula e material inorgânico está na faixa entre 1 x 10^ -4^ e 1x10^ -2^. As células imobilizadas não são liberadas em solução em um período de 6 meses e mantém sua viabilidade enquanto produzindo metabólitos secundários.
