Abstract
processo para polimerização de olefinas com distribuição estreita de tamanho de partícula. a descrição se refere ao processo para polimerização de olefinas, o processo compreendendo a polimerização de etileno, opcionalmente na presença de pelo menos um outro comonômero de alfa olefina, preferivelmente comonômero de alfa olefina c4-c10, preferivelmente em uma configuração de polimerização de múltiplos estágios, na presença de um catalisador de polimerização de sítio único para produzir um componente de polímero; para produzir um polímero de polietileno ou um copolímero de polietileno com uma distribuição de tamanho de partícula do pó de polímero de polietileno ou um pó de copolímero de polietileno resultante descrito por uma distribuição lognormal tendo um parâmetro de escala menor que 0,5, preferivelmente menor que 0,45, em particular de 0,1 a 0,45, mais preferivelmente de 0,15 a 0,4. a descrição se refere adicionalmente a um catalisador de polimerização de sítio único, compreendendo (i) um complexo de metal de transição; (ii) um cocatalisador; e opcionalmente (iii) um suporte, preferivelmente um suporte de sílica; em que o catalisador de polimerização de sítio único é caracterizado por uma resistência à compressão de pelo menos 5 mpa, preferivelmente pelo menos 5,5 mpa, em particular de 6 a 25 mpa, mais preferivelmente de 7 a 20 mpa, ainda mais preferivelmente de 7 a 15 mpa. a descrição se refere adicionalmente ao uso do catalisador de polimerização de sítio único na preparação de um componente de polímero de polietileno, um polímero de polietileno ou um copolímero de polietileno e a um polímero de polietileno ou um copolímero de polietileno tendo uma distribuição de tamanho de partícula do polímero de polietileno ou do copolímero de polietileno em forma de pó descrito por uma distribuição lognormal tendo um parâmetro de escala inferior a 0,5, preferivelmente menor que 0,45, em particular de 0,1 a 0,45, mais preferivelmente de 0,15 a 0,4, preferivelmente obtido pelo presente processo.
