Abstract
processo para tratar continuamente um gás contendo sulfeto de hidrogênio e instalações de processo de recuperação de enxofre. a presente invenção se refere a um processo para tratar continuamente um gás contendo sulfeto de hidrogênio, em que o dito processo compreende as seguintes etapas: (a) colocar o gás que compreende sulfeto de hidrogênio em contato com um líquido alcalino aquoso que compreende bactérias oxidantes de sulfeto e partículas de enxofre elementar, produzindo assim um líquido aquoso carregado que compreende sulfeto dissolvido, compostos de polissulfeto, bactérias oxidantes de sulfeto e partículas de enxofre elementar e um gás que tem um teor mais baixo de hidrogênio sulfeto, e passar o líquido aquoso carregado através de uma zona de reator de polissulfeto que compreende uma ou mais zonas de reator de fluxo de tampão, (b) colocar o líquido aquoso carregado em contato com um oxidante para permitir que as bactérias oxidantes de sulfeto oxidem o sulfeto em enxofre elementar, produzindo assim um líquido aquoso enriquecido que compreende uma quantidade aumentada de partículas de enxofre elementar e (c) separar partículas de enxofre elementar do líquido aquoso enriquecido, em que o tempo de permanência do líquido aquoso carregado entre sua preparação na etapa (a) e seu abastecimento à etapa (b) é entre 3 e 45 minutos, e em que o teor de enxofre elementar como parte dos compostos de polissulfeto no líquido aquoso carregado [s0 em sx2-] conforme abastecido na etapa (b) está acima de 0,7 mm.
