MICRORGANISMOS E MÉTODOS PARA REDUZIR CONTAMINAÇÃO BACTERIANA. São fornecidas na presente invenção composições e métodos para reduzir a contaminação bacteriana durante a cultura celular. Tais composições e métodos utilizam peptídeos engenheirados ou células recombinantes capazes de secretar tais peptídeos no meio de cultura. Também são fornecidos métodos de usar peptídeos engenheirados para inibir o crescimento bacteriano durante a cultura de células.
