Abstract

ANÁLISE DE UM ANALITO DISPOSTO DENTRO DE UM MEIO. Trata-se de um aparelho e métodos para o uso com uma amostra corporal que contém um analito disposto dentro d?água. A amostra corporal é posicionada dentro de uma câmara de amostra de altura desconhecida. A luz é direcionada através da amostra em uma primeira banda de comprimento de onda, na qual a absorção de luz pelo analito é relativamente alta, e em uma segunda banda de comprimento de onda que é centralizada ao redor do comprimento de onda entre 1200 nm e 3000 nm. A luz que passa através da amostra em cada uma dentre a primeira e a segunda bandas de comprimento de onda é detectada e, com base na luz detectada em cada uma dentre a primeira e a segunda bandas de comprimento de ondas, uma concentração do analito dentro da amostra corporal é determinada sem medir diretamente a altura da câmara de amostra.
