Abstract
MÉTODO PARA AUMENTAR RECICLAGEM DE RESÍDUO ÁCIDO EM PRODUÇÃO DE ÁLCOOL POR MOAGEM A SECO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de produção de etanol por moagem a seco, no qual o resíduo ácido pós-destilação é submetido à fermentação aeróbica para remover componentes que são inibidores de um etanologênio, como levedura, permitindo a utilização de uma maior quantidade de resíduo ácido pós-destilação durante a preparação inicial de substratos que contém amido para o processo de produção de etanol por moagem a seco. A fermentação aeróbica do resíduo ácido pós-destilação permite uma reciclagem do resíduo ácido substancialmente maior, resultando em economia de água doce e maior sustentabilidade.
