Abstract
método para controle de um processo de fermentação. a presente invenção refere-se a um processo de fermentação para a fermentação de pelo menos um microrganismo, em que o processo de fermentação compreende as etapas de (a) permitir que um caldo de fermentação compreendendo pelo menos um microrganismo flua no reator de fermentação; (b) fornecer um substrato de carbono ao reator de fermentação permitindo que o substrato gasoso de carbono seja dissolvido, ou parcialmente dissolvido, no caldo de fermentação; (c) fornecer um substrato de nitrogênio ao reator de fermentação permitindo que o substrato gasoso de nitrogênio seja dissolvido, ou parcialmente dissolvido, no caldo de fermentação; e (d) manter uma concentração de nitrato do caldo de fermentação abaixo de 0,035 g/l, e/ou manter uma concentração de nitrato do caldo de fermentação inferior a 0,01 g de nitrato/g de biomassa; em que pelo menos um organismo metanotrófico compreende pelo menos um microrganismo metanotrófico.
