Abstract
CONTROLE DE PROCESSO PARA BIOCONVERSÕES. São proporcionados processos de controle para aprimorar processos biológicos para converter substratos gasosos em produtos finais úteis, tais como etanol. Um processo inclui fornecer um substrato gasoso compreendendo um ou mais de CO e CO2 a um biorreator a uma taxa de adição de substrato. As bactérias acetogênicas fornecidas ao biorreator fermentam o substrato gasoso em um caldo de fermentação. O processo inclui a determinação de uma concentração de ácidos carboxílicos e/ou carboxilatos no caldo de fermentação. Um algoritmo de controle usa essas concentrações para ajustar a taxa de adição de substrato gasoso.
