Abstract

purificação de oligossacarídeos a partir de um caldo de fermentação utilizando filtração. um método para purificar um oligossacarídeo, preferencialmente um oligossacarídeo do leite humano (hmo) neutro ou um hmo sialilado, a partir de um caldo de fermentação, o método compreendendo: - fornecer um caldo de fermentação que contém o oligossacarídeo de interesse, biomassa, células microbianas e carboidratos diferentes do oligossacarídeo de interesse; - remover as células microbianas a partir do caldo de fermentação, fornecendo assim um fluxo de processo; - submeter o fluxo de processo a uma primeira etapa de filtragem usando uma membrana de nanofiltração, fornecendo assim um filtrado que contém o oligossacarídeo de interesse; - submeter o filtrado a uma segunda etapa de filtração usando uma membrana de nanofiltração, fornecendo assim um retentado que contém o oligossacarídeo de interesse; e - remover os sais a partir do fluxo de processo usando eletrodiálise, fornecendo assim uma preparação purificada do oligossacarídeo de interesse.
