Abstract

Um método para produção, armazenamento e descarregamento offshore flutuante de petróleo, compreendendo a recepção de hidrocarbonetos de pelo menos um de um FPSO, risers de produção ou cabeça de poço no fundo do mar por um casco flutuante; processamento de hidrocarbonetos recebidos, formando produto de hidrocarboneto no casco flutuante; armazenamento do produto de hidrocarboneto no casco flutuante; e descarregamento do produto de hidrocarboneto armazenado. O casco flutuante contém uma vista em plano do casco que é circular e em que o casco flutuante tem uma superfície de fundo, uma superfície de topo do convés, em pelo menos três seções conectadas, unidas em série e configuradas simetricamente em torno de um eixo vertical, com as seções conectadas estendendo-se para baixo a partir da superfície de topo do convés em direção à superfície de fundo. As pelo menos três seções conectadas contêm uma porção cilíndrica superior, uma seção cônica inferior, uma seção de pescoço cilíndrica e um conjunto de aletas presas ao casco configuradas para fornecer desempenho hidrodinâmico por meio de amortecimento linear e quadrático.
