Abstract
a invenção se refere a um processo para fabricar um aduto de ureia cíclica de um composto de etilenoamina, sendo que o composto de etilenoamina é selecionado a partir do grupo de etilenoaminas e hidroxietiletilenoaminas e compreende pelo menos uma porção química de -nh-ch2-ch2-nh- e pelo menos duas porções químicas de etileno, em que o composto de etilenoamina é reagido com co2 na presença de um composto auxiliar selecionado a partir de etilenodiamina (eda), monoetanolamina (mea) e misturas das mesmas, sendo que a razão molar de composto auxiliar para composto de amina é de pelo menos 0,02:1. constatou-se que a presença de um composto auxiliar selecionado a partir de etilenodiamina (eda), monoetanolamina (mea) e misturas das mesmas resulta em um aumento substancial da taxa de reação em comparação com um processo em que o composto auxiliar não está presente.
