Abstract
A presente invenção fornece um método de soldagem por fricção capaz unir de modo apropriado uma peça de trabalho e uma outra peça de trabalho enquanto que assegurando um processo de fricção executado de modo apropriado. Uma superfície de extremidade de uma peça de trabalho (W1) e uma superfície de extremidade de uma peça de trabalho (W2) são giradas relativamente enquanto estando colocadas em contato uma com a outra em um estado no qual uma força de compressão é aplicada a fim de gerar um calor de fricção em uma interface de junta das peças de trabalho (W1, W2), e subsequentemente, após parar a rotação relativa das peças de trabalho (W1, W2), uma pressão de interrupção (P2) é aplicada às peças de trabalho (W1, W2). Quando a superfície de extremidade da peça de trabalho (W1) e a superfície de extremidade da peça de trabalho (W2) estão colocadas em contato uma com a outra, uma força de compressão (P) a ser usada não alcança um valor limite inferior (Pbl) de uma força de compressão de curvamento que causa curvamento da peça de trabalho (W1) em relação à peça de trabalho (W2), enquanto o calor de fricção causa uma deformação plástica entre as superfícies de extremidades das peças de trabalho (W1, W2) de acordo com a força de compressão (P) e o número de rotações relativas entre as peças de trabalho (W1, W2).
