Abstract
"método e aparelho de soldagem por agitação e atrito de dois lados,e, conjunto de ferramenta para solda por agitação e atrito de dois lados". a fim de realizar economicamente solda por agitação e atrito de duas superfícies, resultando em alta resistência da junta, são reveladas uma primeira e segunda ferramentas rotativas (3,4), cada qual com uma seção de encosto (3c,4c) formada na porção da ponta do corpo da ferramenta (3a,4a). a primeira ferramenta rotativa (3) tem adicionalmente uma protuberância (3d) formada de maneira a salientar-se da porção da ponta do corpo da ferramenta, e a segunda ferramenta rotativa tem uma concavidade (4d) que é formada na porção da ponta do corpo da ferramenta e que acomoda a ponta da protuberância (3d) durante soldagem de duas chapas metálicas (1,2). a primeira e segunda ferramentas rotativas são posicionadas opostamente nas faces dianteira e traseira da área de união (j) das chapas metálicas e movem-se uma em direção à outra. a ponta da protuberância da primeira ferramenta rotativa é inserida na concavidade da segunda ferramenta rotativa, as superfícies de encosto (3b, 4b) das seções de encosto da primeira e segunda ferramentas rotativas (3,4) são pressionadas sobre os lados dianteiro e traseiro da área de união e, nesse estado, a primeira e segunda ferramentas rotativas (3,4) movem-se ao longo da área de união, agitando por atrito toda aq área de união na direção da espessura das chapas com a primeira e segunda ferramentas rotativas.
