Abstract

a presente invenção diz respeito a um sistema e metodologia para geração de modelos digitais que consideram a adaptação do formato da gengiva do paciente. o sistema ilustrativo utiliza uma varredura inicial da gengiva do paciente como um modelo de base, considerando o tipo e a morfologia dos dentes, o formato, a orientação e os movimentos das raízes dentro da gengiva, e outros fatores para uma perdição mais precisa das alterações no formato da gengiva através de todas as etapas do tratamento. em particular, o sistema de forma proativa determina as áreas do modelo que serão cobertas pelo alinhador e impede alterações em tais áreas, ao passo que o formado do modelo fora destas áreas é alterado de um modo a minimizar o tamanho do modelo e para adicionar quaisquer características necessárias para a fabricação dos alinhadores.
