Abstract

QUE COMPRENDE UNA BASE DE PROTESIS DENTAL QUE CONSISTE EN DOS PORCIONES ACRILICAS QUE INCLUYEN UNA PLANTILLA DENTAL FORMADA POR UNA PRIMERA SECCION ACRILICA UNIDA DIRECTAMENTE A LOS DIENTES DEL PACIENTE, Y UNA SEGUNDA SECCION ACRILICA CONTIGUA A LA PRIMERA, Y QUE TIENE LA FORMA DEL REBORDE ALVEOLAR EDENTADO DEL PACIENTE. TAMBIEN SE DESCRIBE UN METODO PARA FORMAR UNA PROTESIS DENTAL, QUE COMPRENDE: A) PROVEER UNA VARIEDAD DE PLANTILLAS DE PROTESIS DENTALES DE DIFERENTES TAMANOS, CADA UNA DE LAS CUALES HA SIDO PREFORMADA CON UN MOLDE PREFORMADO Y COMPRENDE UNA BASE ACRILICA CON DIENTES PROSTETICOS ADHERIDOS A LA MISMA; B) SELECCIONAR UNA PRIMERA PLANTILLA DENTAL DE DICHA VARIEDAD DE PLANTILLAS QUE TENGA UNA MEDIDA CORRESPONDIENTE A LA MEDIDA DEL BORDE ALVEOLAR EDENTADO DEL PACIENTE, PERO QUE AUN NO CALZA CONFORTABLEMENTE; C) AGREGAR MATERIAL VISCOSO A DICHA PRIMERA PLANTILLA DENTAL; D) POSESIONAR LA PRIMERA PLANTILLA DENTAL EN EL REBORDE ALVEOLAR EDENTADO DEL PACIENTE, HACIENDO QUE EL MATERIAL VISCOSO TOME LA FORMA DE LOS CONTORNOS DEL REBORDE ALVEOLAR EDENTADO DEL PACIENTE; Y E) PERMITIR QUE DICHO MATERIAL VISCOSO SE SOLIDIFIQUE, PARA PRODUCIR UN MOLDE SOLIDIFICADO, FORMANDO ASI UNA PROTESIS DENTAL COMPUESTA POR DICHOS DIENTES PROSTETICOS, DICHA BASE ACRILICA Y DICHO MOLDE SOLIDIFICADO
