Abstract
é descrito um método para a formação de uma ferramenta ou instrumento dental apresentando um formato memorizado. o método compreende a seleção de um fio de nitinol apresentando uma temperatura de transição inicial abaixo da temperatura ambiente; a moagem do fio de nitinol para formar a ferramenta ou instrumento dental de maneira a ter uma perna, localizada adjacente a uma primeira extremidade, e uma área de trabalho, com pelo menos uma borda de corte, localizada adjacente a uma segunda extremidade condutora oposta; a moldagem da área de trabalho em um formato moldado apresentando pelo menos uma protrusão ali formada; o aquecimento da ferramenta ou instrumento dental para cumulativamente: a) alterar a temperatura de transição inicial da ferramenta ou instrumento dental para uma temperatura de transição final, e b) memorizar o formato moldado incluindo a pelo menos uma protrusão de tal forma que a ferramenta ou instrumento dental irá automaticamente retornar para o formato moldado apresentando a pelo menos uma protrusão quando a uma temperatura da ou acima da temperatura de transição final.
