trata-se de um sistema de armazenamento e um método de coleta de lixo de sistema. o sistema de armazenamento inclui um primeiro controlador (11), um segundo controlador (22) e um disco de estado sólido (44). o primeiro controlador (11) e o segundo controlador (22) gerenciam o espaço de armazenamento do disco de estado sólido em uma unidade de um segmento. o primeiro controlador (11) é configurado para realizar (403) a coleta de lixo de sistema em segmentos múltiplos de segmentos gerenciados pelo primeiro controlador. o segundo controlador (22) é configurado para: quando o primeiro controlador realiza a coleta de lixo de sistema, realizar (44) a coleta de lixo de sistema em segmentos múltiplos de segmentos gerenciados pelo segundo controlador. os segmentos múltiplos dos segmentos gerenciados pelo primeiro controlador e os segmentos múltiplos dos segmentos gerenciados pelo segundo controlador são alocados dentro do mesmo período de tempo. portanto, uma quantidade de vezes de amplificação de gravação no disco de estado sólido pode ser reduzida.
