a presente invenção refere-se a aparelho de embalagem (1), que compreende: uma unidade de controle (50); uma estação de carga configurada para posicionar um filme tubular (21) em torno de um produto (20) a ser embalado; uma estação selante (3) acoplada à unidade de controle, a unidade de controle sendo configurada para controlar a estação selante (3), para criar um ou mais selos no filme tubular (21); um conjunto de evacuação (6) acoplado à unidade de controle (50), o conjunto de evacuação (6) incluindo um primeiro membro (60a) e um segundo membro (60b) disposto oposto ao primeiro membro (60a, 60t), o primeiro membro (60a) incluindo uma parte deformável (68, 68t), o primeiro (60a) e o segundo (60b) membros sendo relativamente móveis entre: uma primeira configuração, na qual o primeiro (60a) e o segundo (60b) membros são espaçados entre si; uma segunda configuração, na qual a parte deformável (68) entra em contato com pelo menos parte do segundo membro (60b) e/ou parte do filme tubular (21), que, em uso, fica apoiando o segundo membro (60b); e uma terceira configuração, na qual a parte deformável (68) é comprimida em uma direção de compressão, na direção do segundo membro (60b); e um meio (30) para movimentar o produto (20) relativo ao e do conjunto de evacuação (6). um processo de embalagem é também descrito.
