Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se às sistemas e aos métodos para o controle de uma máquina de retificação de bordas de lente oftálmica. A máquina de retificação de bordas de lente oftálmica usa um código de retificador de bordas para selecionar uma macro ou velocidade para uma tarefa de retificação de bordas de lente solicitada. Um sistema para criação e uso do código de retificador de bordas pode incluir um Sistema de Gerenciamento de Laboratório (LMS), um sistema de cálculo de lente e uma máquina de retificação de bordas de lente. Um código de retificador de bordas pode ser gerado usando dados de lente recebidos desde um sistema de gerenciamento de lentes e informações de máquina de retificação de bordas identificando uma ou mais máquinas de retificação de bordas de lente-alvo. O código de retificador de bordas compreende uma pluralidade de caracteres. Cada caractere é associado a uma funcionalidade diferente de uma tarefa de retificação de bordas solicitada. As funcionalidades da tarefa de retificação de bordas solicitada podem incluir, por exemplo, um ou mais entre: um tipo de material, uma espessura de lente, um tipo de borda, um tipo de armação, um revestimento de lente, um formato de lente, uma relação de lente, um tratamento de lente e um tipo de bloco de máquina de retificação de bordas.
