Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um método para a criopreservação de células aderentes ligadas a um substrato e um método para identificar um ou mais componentes da matriz extracelular (ecm) e/ou proteínas matricelulares que melhora a viabilidade e retenção das células criopreservadas no substrato. o método para a criopreservação inclui o tratamento de um substrato com pelo menos um componente da ecm e/ou a adição de pelo menos uma proteína matricelular ao substrato ou ao meio de cultura da célula, revestimento das células no substrato tratado e criopreservação das células. um ou mais componentes da ecm e/ou proteínas matricelulares que melhoram a viabilidade e a retenção celular podem ser identificados através da avaliação das células que foram descongeladas a partir da temperatura de criopreservação para determinar a viabilidade e a retenção celular.
