Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de carregamento e a um método de operação para o dito dispositivo de carregamento para um motor de combustão interna (1), tendo um turbocompressor de escape (4) e um carregador de recuperação (12), com uma turbina de compressor (13) e um motor-gerador eletromecânico (14) acoplado à mesma. o lado de alta pressão (hp) da turbina de compressor (13) pode ser conectado, por meio de uma disposição de válvula, à linha de alimentação de ar fresco (7) antes do turbocompressor de escape (4) em um lado e, no outro lado, à linha de alimentação de ar de carga (8) depois do turbocompressor de escape (4), onde o ar fresco pode ser sugado ou o ar de carga soprado via o lado de baixa pressão (lp) da turbina de compressor. o carregador de recuperação (12) pode ser comutado, por meio de uma disposição de válvula e do motor-gerador, entre um modo de operação padrão, um modo de operação de amplificador e um modo de operação de recuperação, onde o carregador de recuperação opera, em um lado, no modo de operação de amplificador, acionado pelo motor-gerador (14), como um compressor para o aumento de pressão na linha de alimentação de ar fresco (8), ou, no outro lado, acionado pelo fluxo de ar de carga, atua como uma turbina para a recuperação de energia por meio do motor-gerador (14), ou é operável de forma neutra.
