Abstract
a presente invenção se refere à detecção de um movimento e/ou uma posição de um objeto (1) a ser monitorado. ao menos um marcador (2) que irradia luz é disposto em uma área do objeto (1) de modo que uma câmera (4) possa capturar imagens do marcador (2), quando o objeto (1) estiver em uma primeira posição. uma unidade de processamento de imagem (6) é habilitada para detectar o marcador (2) nas imagens e detectar um movimento e/ou uma segunda posição do objeto (1) em resposta à determinação de que ao menos uma parte do marcador (2) não pode ser detectada em uma ou mais das imagens. o objeto (1) pode ser, particularmente, uma pessoa deitada em um leito e o marcador (2) pode ser disposto adjacente à área para deitar (3) do leito para que o sistema possa detectar que a pessoa deixa o leito e notificar à equipe da enfermaria ou uma central de emergência.
