Abstract

PROCESSO PARA AUMENTAR O PESO MOLECULAR DE UM POLIÉSTER DE PARTIDA SEMICRISTALINO E POLIÉSTER. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para aumentar o peso molecular de um poliéster de partida semicristalino compreendendo unidades de 2,5- furanodicarboxílico de etileno,por aquecimento do poliéster de partida semicristalino, com um ponto de fusão Tm, a uma temperatura na faixa de (Tm-40°C) a Tm para obter um poliéster em estado sólido, em que o poliéster de partida semicristalino tem uma viscosidade intrínseca de pelo menos 0,45 dl/g, e uma quantidade de grupos terminais de ácido carboxílico de 15 a 122 mEq/kg.
