A invenção diz respeito a um buquê de flores que confere uma frescura prolongada a um meio nutriente aquoso para manter flores cortadas, bem como a um método para conferir uma longevidade prolongada a uma ou mais flores cortadas, o qual compreende os passos que consistem em permitir que uma ou mais flores cortadas, com a superfície de corte do seu caule, entre em contato com o referido meio nutriente aquoso.
