Abstract

CONTROLE DE RESOLUÇÃO DE VIDEO & GPU DINÂMICO USANDO O MODELO DE PERCEPÇÃO DE RETINA. Um método e um aparelho são providos. O aparelho pode ser um UE. O UE determina uma distância de visualização entre um display e um usuário, e determina uma resolução mínima com base na distância de visualização. Além disso, o UE determina reduzir o consumo de potência no UE. Além disso, o UE define uma resolução de renderização de gráficos ou decodificação de vídeo para exibição no display na resolução mínima após a determinação de reduzir o consumo de potência no UE. A resolução mínima e a resolução maior do que a resolução mínima podem ser indistinguíveis para pelo menos um dos olhos do usuário. A distância entre o display e o usuário pode ser medida usando uma câmera, um sensor de ultrassom, um sensor ultrassônico, ou um sensor de distância de curto alcance. O UE pode aplicar pelo menos um fator de ajuste para melhorar ou degradar a resolução mínima.
