Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um material de aço resis-tente à abrasão excelente em características de fadiga tendo uma composição química compreendendo de 0,30 a 0,90% de c, de 0,05 a 1,00% de si, de 0,10 a 1,50% de mn, de 0,003 a 0,030% de p, de 0,001 a 0,020% de s, e de 0,10 a 0,70% de nb, e contendo, dependendo da necessidade, um ou mais tipos de elementos entre 1,50% ou menos de cr, 0,50% ou menos de mo, 0,50% ou menos de v, 2,00% ou menos de ni, 0,10% ou menos de ti, e 0,0050% ou menos de b, todos em termos de percentual em massa, com o saldo sendo fe e as inevitáveis impurezas; tendo uma estrutura metálica após um tratamento térmico de têmpera tendo um carboneto contendo nb disperso ali; e tendo um número de partículas de carboneto contendo nb tendo um diâmetro de partícula de 1,0 ¿m ou mais que é controlado para 200 partículas por mm2 ou mais, e o diâmetro máximo de partícula dmax das partículas de carbonetos contendo nb em 103 mm3 estimado por um método estatístico de valor extremo que é controlado para 18,0 ¿m ou menos.
