resumo patente de invenção: "lustração e passivação de superfícies de aço inoxidável". a presente invenção refere-se a uma composição para lustrar e/ou passivar o aço inoxidável após a decapagem. a invenção é baseada na descoberta que a presença de compostos orgânicos que contêm múltiplos grupos hidroxila com pelo menos 3, mas não mais do que 8 átomos de carbono como um ingrediente adicional da solução passivadora e lustradora aumentam de maneira significativa o desempenho da remoção de resíduos pré-tratamento de superfícies de aço inoxidável decapadas. as composições da invenção são especialmente úteis para passivar e lustrar graus de aço inoxidável que formam ligas com o enxofre. a invenção também engloba desse modo um processo para passivar e lustrar as superfícies de aço inoxidável decapadas em que o aço inoxidável é formado em liga com pelo menos 0,10 at.-% de enxofre.
