resumo “invólucro para fibra óptica” um invólucro passivo para fibra óptica que compreende a) uma ou mais unidades funcionais para fibra óptica de uma rede de tele-comunicação, conectáveis opticamente, através de uma fibra óptica, a uma unidade de rede central, para receber sinais de telecomunicação para um ou mais assi-nantes através da fibra óptica da unidade de rede central, em que o invólucro com-preende adicionalmente, no lado interno do invólucro, b) meios de transcepção, que têm por finalidade gerar primeiros sinais óp-ticos com o uso da energia elétrica, que têm por finalidade receber os sinais de resposta ópticos da unidade de rede central, que são opcionalmente conectáveis à fibra óptica, de modo que os primeiros sinais ópticos possam ser transmitidos pela fibra óptica até a unidade de rede central, e de modo que os sinais de resposta óp-ticos possam ser transmitidos pela fibra óptica da unidade de rede central até os meios de transcepção.
