resumo da patente de invenção para: dispositivo e método para a produção contínua de frio por meio de termoquímica. a invenção refere-se a um sistema e um método termoquímico para a produção de frio, do tipo que utiliza pelo menos um dispositivo reativo que compreende um reator (1a, 1b) ou uma câmara para armazenar um produto reativo que pode absorver um gás. o produto reativo e do gás são de tal modo que, quando são expostos a um ao outro, são submetidos a uma reação que resulta na absorção do gás pelo produto reativo e, por outro lado, sofrem uma reação que compreende a dessorção do gás absorvido pela o produto reativo, como resultado do calor aplicado ao produto reativo quando absorveu o gás. o sistema compreende dois dispositivos reativos substancialmente idênticos dispostos de modo a ter ciclos de operação opostos, de modo que quando o reator (1b) de um dispositivo reativo está operando no ciclo de absorção, o reator (1a) da outra está operando no ciclo de dessorção. o sistema é caracterizado pelo fato de compreender meios para a determinação da taxa de progresso (x) da reação termoquímica.
