resumo patente de invenção: "método para controlar a distribuição de partículas de polímero durante a preparação de uma dispersão aquosa de polímero, dispersão aquosa de polímero e o uso da mesma". a presente invenção refere-se a um método para o controle da distribuição de tamanho de partículas de polímero formadas durante a preparação da dispersão aquosa de polímero, compreendendo obter uma solução aquosa de polissacarídeo compreendendo 10 a 40% em peso de polissacarídeos contendo um grupo de hidroxila livre, e polimerizar na solução de polissacarídeo na presença de um sistema redox de ligação de enxerto hidrossolúvel de 30 a 60% em peso de pelo menos um estireno opcionalmente substituído, 60 a 30% em peso de pelo menos um c1-c4 metacrilato de alquila, e de 0 até 10 % em peso de outros monômeros etilênicamente não saturados copolimerizáveis. a distribuição de tamanho das partículas de polímero formadas é controlada através do ajuste da viscosidade da solução de polissacarídeo antes da polimerização em um nível < 20 mpas. a invenção também se refere a uma dispersão aquosa de polímero tendo o valor d(99) < 160 nm para as partículas de polímero na dispersão de polímero e o uso da mesma.
