Abstract
resumo patente de invenção: "sistema de rede configurado para determinar correção antecipada de erros durante um modo de dados". a presente invenção refere-se a um método para determinar um protocolo de correção antecipada de erros (fec). o método inclui solicitar, por um elemento de nó da rede durante um período de autonegociação entre o elemento de nó e um parceiro de ligação, determinar pelo menos um modo fec durante um período de modo de dados; em que o período de autonegociação e o período de modo de dados são definidos por um protocolo de comunicações ethernet e o período de autonegociações ocorre antes do período de modo de dados; determinar, pelo elemento de nó da rede durante o período de modo de dados, pelo menos um parâmetro de qualidade de canal de pelo menos um canal de uma ligação de comunicação entre o elemento de nó da rede e o parceiro de ligação; e determinar, pelo elemento de nó da rede durante o período de modo de dados, se habilita ou desabilita o pelo menos um modo fec para uso pelo elemento de nó da rede baseado, pelo menos em parte, em pelo menos um parâmetro de qualidade de canal.
