resumo patente de invenção: "extração de ácido policarboxílico". a presente invenção refere-se a um método para recuperar ácido policarboxílico a partir de uma mistura aquosa que compreende as etapas de: proporcionar uma mistura aquosa que compreende o ácido policarboxílico e pelo menos 5% em peso de sal de halogeneto dissolvido, com base no peso total da água e do material dissolvido na mistura aquosa, extrair o ácido policarboxílico a partir da mistura aquosa em um primeiro líquido orgânico compreendendo um solvente orgânico selecionado do grupo que consiste em cetonas e éteres, obtendo assim uma solução orgânica do ácido policarboxílico e um líquido residual aquoso que compreende o sal de halogeneto, e extrair o ácido policarboxílico a partir da solução orgânica de ácido carboxílico em um líquido aquoso, obtendo assim uma solução aquosa de ácido policarboxílico e um segundo líquido orgânico. o método de acordo com a invenção permite uma etapa de purificação e concentração combinada para soluções de alimentação de ácidos policarboxílicos.
