resumo “sistema e método para descoberta automática de programa de conteúdo” um sistema para descoberta de informação de programa é descrito. um mé-todo e um dispositivo para gerar e inserir uma marca d’água para tal descoberta de informação de programa em um sinal de programa a ser renderizado são revelados, juntamente com o método e dispositivo correspondentes para detecção e decodifi-cação de marca d’água dos sinais de programa renderizados. marca d’água, a qual carrega informação de canal/programa, é codificada e embutida no aparelho conversor de sinais onde os fluxos de programa são recebidos e decodificados para renderização. dispositivos de segunda tela são empregados para detecção e decodificação de marca d’água ao capturar os sinais de programa de renderização que têm a marca d’água embutida. a informação de marca d’água extraída pode ser enviada para servidores de informação para informação de canal/programa mais detalhada.
