Abstract

PROCESSO PARA FORMAÇÃO DE UM POLÍMERO E POLÍMERO A invenção se refere a processos para a formação de um polímero que compreende resíduos de 2-(4-amino fenil)-5 (6) amino benzimidazol (DAPBI), parafenileno diamina e dicloreto de tereftaloíla, que compreendem as etapas de: (a) formar uma pasta fluida de DAPBI e parafenileno diamina em um sistema solvente que compreende um solvente orgânico e um sal inorgânico; e (b) adicionar uma quantidade estequiométrica de dicloreto de tereftaloíla à pasta fluida em uma única adição e permitir a formação do polímero.
