resumo patente de invenção: "quadrifólio". a presente invenção refere-se a uma embarcação tendo um casco, um mastro com vela, um leme traseiro e um hidrofólio projetando-se abaixo do fundo do casco. o hidrofólio é pivotadamente conectado ao casco possibilitando o hidrofólio a arfar em um eixo pivô que é, essencialmente, perpendicular ao eixo longitudinal do casco. os hidrofólios têm uma parte vertical que produz forças laterais para acelerar o barco que por sua vez resiste às forças laterais provenientes da vela, e uma porção vertical que se curva para a porção horizontal que produz elevação vertical. o ângulo de incidência do hidrofólio é controlado por um braço do sensor carregando um sensor traseiro. 20082704v1
