Abstract
aparelho para suportar elementos internos em uma coluna de transferência de massa e processo envolvendo o mesmo. trata-se de uma viga de suporte alongada que serve para suportar elementos internos, tais como coletores de líquidos, distribuidores de líquidos, suportes de embalagem, ou bandejas dentro de uma coluna de transferência de massa. a viga de suporte é dividida longitudinalmente em um segmento de viga inferior e em um segmento de viga superior que são unidos juntos por uma pluralidade de conectores em uma ou mais posições longitudinalmente espaçadas. os conectores servem para enrijecer e resistir á deflexão lateral dos segmentos de viga inferior e superior uns em relação aos outros e transferir a carga sustentada pelo segmento de viga superior ao segmento de viga inferior ou vice-versa. dividindo-se a viga de suporte em segmentos de viga inferior e superior, cada um dos segmentos de viga inferior e superior pode ser passado através de uma abertura de escotilha em um invólucro da coluna de transferência de massa antes da montagem da viga de suporte ou após a desmontagem da viga de suporte dentro da coluna de transferência de massa.
