estrutura de antena dupla tendo características de polarização circular a presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo] de antena composto de pelo menos primeira, segunda e terceira placas de metal condutivo dispostas em uma configuração na forma de paralelepípedo. a terceira placa define um plano inferior e a primeira e segunda placas juntas definem um plano superior substancialmente paralelo ao plano inferior. a primeira e segunda placa são separadas por uma fenda no plano superior, e a segunda e terceira placas são conectadas uma à outra por uma conexão de aterramento. a primeira placa compreende um primeiro braço de antena ativo que é provido com uma conexão de alimentação, e a segunda placa compreende um segundo braço de antena que pode ser passivo ou ativo. o dispositivo de antena gera um padrão de radiação circularmente polarizado que é bom para os dispositivos de navegação pessoais, enquanto sendo significativamente mais compacto do que as antenas de remendo cerâmico existentes que são tipicamente usadas nestes dispositivos.
