Abstract
uma transmissão de turbo composto e um método para controle de uma transmissão de turbo composto. a prsente invenção se refere a uma transmissão de turbo composto, preferivelmente em um motor a diessel comercial pesado ou comercial médio, compreendendo: uma turbina de tubo composto (27) para ser tracionada por gases de exautão a partir de um motor de combustão interna (21); e um acoplamento (33, 733, 833, 933) compreendendo: um primeiro rotor compreendendo uma tração de entrada mecânica (47) adaptada para ser tracionada pela turbina (27), um segundo rotor compreendendo uma tração de saída mecânica (51). em concordância com a presente invenção, a trasmissão é caracterizada pelo fato de que: um freio (73) é disposto para frear e limitar a rotação de referida turbina (27) e onde referido acoplamento (33, 733, 833, 933) é disposto para desacoplar quando se frenagem com referido freio (73), e quando o torque sobre o acoplamento está acima de um limite de torque pré-determinado. a presente invenção também se refere a um método para controle de uma transmissão de turbo composto.
