enzimas celulase otimizadas. a invenção revela enzimas celulase com propriedades otimizadas para o processamento de substratos contendo celulose e lignocelulose. são reveladas, em particular, enzimas celobiohidrolase com características preferenciais. a presente invenção proporciona variantes de tais enzimas por fusão, inserção, deleção e/ou substituição. as enzimas variantes têm termoestabilidade reforçada, estabilidade proteolítica, atividade específica e/ou estabilidade em ph extremo. são divulgadas moléculas de ácido nucleico que codificam as referidas enzimas, uma composição compreendendo as referidas enzimas, um método para a preparação, e a utilização para o processamento de celulose e/ou para a produção de biocombustíveis.
