Abstract

materiais compósitos de matriz elétrica contendo materiais de fibra infundidos com nanotubos de carbono métodos para produção dos mesmos a presente invenção refere-se a materiais compósitos contendo uma matriz metálica com pelo menos um material de fibra infundido com nanotubos de carbono. matrizes metálicas incluem, por exemplo, alumínio, magnésio , cobre, cobalto , níquel, zircônio, prata, ouro, titânio e várias mistiras desses. os materiais de fibra incluem fibras de vidro , fibras de carbono, fibras metálicas, fibras cerâmicas , fibras orgânicas, fibras de carboneto de silício, fibras de carboneto de boro , fibras de nitreto de sílicio e fibras de óxido de alumínio. os materiais compósitos também podem incluir uma camada de passivação revestindo pelo menos o material de fibras infundido com nanotubos de carbono e , opcionalmente,apluralidade de nanotubos de carbono. a matriz metálica pode incluir pelo menos um aditivo que aumente a compatibilidade da matriz metálica com o material de fibra infundido com nanotubos de carbono . o material de fibra pode ser distribuído uniformemente, não uniformemente ou em um gradiente na matriz metálica. distribuições não uniformes podem ser usadas para conferir diferentes propriedades mecênicas, elétricas ou térmicas a diferentes regiões da matriz metálica.
