Abstract
separador centrífugo, e, método para separar partículas sólidas a partir de uma misturar de líquidos. a presente invenção se refere a um separador centrífugo para separar partículas sólidas a partir de uma mistura de líquidos, o dito separador centrífugo compreendendo um corpo de rotor (1) que pode ser girado em torno de um eixo geométrico de rotação (r), o corpo de rotor (1) tendo uma câmara de separação (16) com uma entrada (13, 15) para a mistura de líquidos, pelo menos uma saída de líquido (25, 26, 31, 32) para um líquido separado a partir da mistura de líquidos, uma saída de lama(34) para as partículas sólidas separadas,um transportador de parafuso (2) adaptado para girar no corpo de rotor (1) em torno do eixo geométrico de rotação (r), a uma velocidade que difere da velocidade de rotação do corpo de rotor (1), para transportar as partículas sólidas separadas na câmara de separação (16)na direção à, e para fora da, saída de lama (34) um arranjo de acionamento (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) adaptado para girara o corpo de rotor (1) e o transportador de parafuso (2) em suas respectivas velocidades, e uma unidade de controle (44); que é adaptada para controlar o arranjo de acionamento (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) para girar o corpo de rotor (1)a uma primeira velocidade durante uma fase de separação e a uma segunda velocidade, que é inferior à primeira velocidade, durante uma fase de descarga de partícula.
